3 Rules to Make a Friendship Last Forever 

Having a friend is one of the things that we love about life. Making friends with someone is not that easy that is why when we have that someone in our life, we want to do ways to keep them. Friendship is the extension of our family. With our friends, we can share anything and everything.

It is nice to have many friends but always keep in mind that it is better to have one as long as the relationship is true. When you have that truefriend in you, never let that person go. Do every way to keep him/her. Here are three rules on how to make your friendship last forever:
  1. Always keep in touch- having a friend is like having a family member outside your house. You have to keep in touch with them. Talk to them as often as you can. If you are very busy, call or just send them messages to keep them reminded that you remembered them.
  2. Do not be too possessive- always remember that you are not the ONLY friend of your friend. It is the same way as she/he is not your only friend. Do not ask for too much time for you. If one day, you ask her/him to help you find some pool cleaners and cheap patio furniture for your pool which is what you used to do before and she/he said no, understand that there are other priorities that she have to do. There will always be a next time.
  3. Be honest- "Honesty is the best policy." It is one of the best ways to make your friendship last forever. Like the example above, be honest. If you can’t be with your friend, say so. Do not hesitate to tell your friend that you can’t do her a favor sometimes. If buying cheap patio furnitureis what you are used to do before but you are not free to be with your friend when she/he asked you, tell her the truth and explain why. It is better to say the truth that to keep her waiting for nothing.
